Speakers and Topics

Stop It Now! will be making two presentations.  Deborah Donovan Rice, Executive Director, and independent researcher Terry Amick will discuss our national survey research in the presentation "Stop It Now! Research and Evaluation Results of 12 Years of Programming." Sarita Hudson, Director of Public Engagement, will present "Online strategies for child sexual abuse prevention: Development and use of an interactive online tool."

Other presentation topics include: working with men who have experienced childhood sexual abuse, social networking and new technologies, and how parents manage risk.

Conference keynotes will be delivered by former Stop It Now! Public Education Director, Joan Tabachnick of NEARI. Joan is also active in the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) and blogs for the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC). Gail Ryan of the Kemp Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect (Colorado USA) will deliver the closing keynote.

Copies of presentation slides will be made available after the conference.
