Prevention Education

Our Prevention Education program teaches adults to create safe communities so we can prevent sexual abuse of children and youth before children are harmed.  Our educational materials and training increase the knowledge and skills of adults so they are able to confidently set clear boundariesi and expectations, recognize and acknowledge concerning behaviors in themselves and others, and react responsibly to questionable behaviors and risky situations. Our materials are based on our formative research (including interviews and focus groups with members of our target audiences) as well as our experience providing support and resources to users of our Help Services.
