| Abstract | Medical, psychological, and environmental factors can contribute to the development of sexually abusive behavior. This article uses the language of both psychology and public health to elaborate on the links between sexual addiction and sexual abuse, and offers public health prevention strategies to recognize, manage, and ultimately diminish sexually abusive behaviors. |
