Sexual Abuse of Special Needs Children - A Survey
To better understand the extent of childhood sexual abuse among people with disabilities, a Hofstra University doctoral student is conducting a web-based survey about the sexual harassment and abuse of students.
The anonymous survey is designed to gather information about individuals with disabilities who have ever been sexually abused in a school setting. Parents, guardians, advocates and caregivers of students with disabilities are asked to respond on behalf of the victimized student. Or adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse can complete the survey for themselves. If you would like to help increase knowledge of this issue, consider taking this anonymous survey.
