Help Services Program Coordinator

Stop It Now!  seeks a Coordinator for its national Help Services Program. The Help Services Program ( provides support and guidance to individuals with questions and concerns about the sexual abuse of a child. The Program includes direct communication via our phone and email services, as well as online tools like our Online Help Center and a planned Advice Column.

The Help Services Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations of phone/email services, supervision and training of staff/volunteers, and data tracking, as well as program development and coordination with other programs. 

The ideal candidate will be able to dig into details and yet see the big picture and  enjoy the challenge of reviewing existing services and taking the Help Services program into its next phase.  This candidate will have both the warmth and strength needed for dealing with people impacted by this issue. And of course, a good sense of humor.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience in staffing or managing a helpline or comparable direct services
  • Evidence of supervisory and administrative experience
  • Experience in curriculum development, training and online learning preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, preferably with Excel, Access and online content
  • Experience with self-care in human service setting
  • Demonstrated team-building, time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Primary responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of the Help Services programming
  • Supervise Help Services staff
  • Conduct evaluation and reporting activity
  • Update training process for staff, including development of online training module for Help Services activities
  • Review, update and, as needed, create content for all areas of service

Program and Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Stop It Now! seeks a Program and Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and proactive, have a sense of humor – and be someone who enjoys the challenge of holding a variety of critical operational and program support responsibilities with room for growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administrative/office management including vendors, equipment, supplies, and vendors.
  • Support for development and fundraising including gift processing and reporting, mailings, and key aspects of workplace giving, grants/contracts, donor prospecting.
  • Communication support to marketing, development, online services and other programs.
  • Manage, maintain and report from key lists and constituent databases.
  • Update website content as needed.
  • Track statistics related to website traffic, programming and constituent engagement.

Required qualifications

  • 1+ year of working experience with databases and/or constituent and contact management.
  • 1+ years of working experience with website content management system.
  • Highly skilled with Internet, email, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Superior ability to research and creatively solve problems, and learn new software as needed.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks in accordance with organizational needs.
  • Organized, analytical and methodical in day-to-day activities and decision making.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally, in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.

Desired qualifications

  • Familiar and comfortable with IT systems and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with operational aspects of development and fundraising.
  • Experience implementing promotional and/or development marketing and communications.
