Donation to Stop It Now! = 57th 'Act of Kindness'
Stop It Now! recently received a donation and public show of support from the Boston Red Sox as part of its 100 Acts of Kindness program this year.
The $2500 donation was presented during an on-field ceremony involving Stop It Now! donors, board and staff. This gift - the 57th Act of Kindness by the Red Sox - will be added to the fund that supports the Stop It Now! Helpline.
On behalf of children and families everywhere - Thank you Red Sox Nation!
The Red Sox are engaging in “100 Acts of Kindness” with various not-for-profit organizations during the 100th anniversary season of Fenway Park in 2012 as a way to highlight and support the important work done by the many charitable institutions throughout New England and beyond. Each act is designed to highlight organizations and causes throughout New England, culminating with 100 by the end of this 100th Anniversary year. See the 100 Acts Photo Gallery.
